What to expect at each stage

An honest, concise explanation.

Day 1 · Immediate submission

Stage 01: Tell us about your particular case

You or your doctor submit your needs, previous diagnosis or procedure of interest through our secure channel. No information is made public.

What to expect

A short form. You can write in your own words; you do not need to have all your reports to hand.

  • Confidential medical form with strict protection of clinical data (GDPR)
  • Option to specify a particular procedure or request specialised guidance
  • Immediate generation of a private case-tracking code

Day 1–2 · 24-hour timeframe

Stage 02: Confidential medical review and triage

Our in-house medical team reviews the clinical appropriateness, submitted medical history and safety criteria before making any referral.

What to expect

A coordinating doctor reviews your case and may ask you for an additional test or report. Nothing is referred on without this review.

  • Confirmation that this is not an unscheduled medical emergency
  • Identification of reports or imaging tests needed for a conclusive assessment
  • Direct, discreet contact from your assigned coordinator to clarify any clinical questions

Day 2–3

Stage 03: Selection of the specialist and leading hospital

We identify the surgeon with the highest case volume, documented advanced techniques and an accredited hospital setting suited to your specific case.

What to expect

We introduce you to the proposed specialist and centre, along with their professional dossier, so that you can make an informed decision.

  • No commercial algorithms or sponsored doctors: strictly clinical criteria
  • Presentation of the proposed specialist’s complete professional dossier
  • Selection of a private hospital with the technology and ICU facilities appropriate for the procedure

Day 3–5

Stage 04: Direct clinical assessment with the surgeon

The specialist reviews your investigations (CT scans, MRI scans or biopsies) directly and holds a confidential medical consultation to determine the indication for surgery.

What to expect

A teleconsultation with the specialist, who reviews your test results. This is the time to ask anything you need.

  • High-definition medical teleconsultation with the surgeon and their team
  • A clear explanation of the recommended technique, alternatives and acceptable risks
  • Formal confirmation of the indication for surgery before any commitment

Day 5–7 · Following clinical assessment

Stage 05: Personalised proposal

You receive an individualised medical and financial proposal for your specific case. We are not a comparison service: the amount reflects your anatomy, surgeon, technology and exact length of stay.

What to expect

An individualised, itemised medical proposal based on your assessment. No comparison sites and no surprises.

  • Fees for the elite surgical team and advanced anaesthesia
  • All hospital costs: operating theatre, robotic platform, one night in a suite and contingency ICU care
  • Specific prosthetic or consumable materials guaranteed without hidden additional costs
  • AUREON international coordination services, clearly distinguished from medical procedures

Before the agreed surgery date

Stage 06: Comprehensive 360° international coordination

We organise the complete care itinerary so that the patient and their companion can travel with complete peace of mind, discretion and support.

What to expect

If you decide to proceed, we organise the practical aspects of travel and accommodation, always in support of your medical care.

  • Arrangements for medical visas, hospital invitation letters and private transfers
  • Booking of premium accommodation or hospital suites for companions
  • In-person medical interpreter throughout the care process and at clinical discharge

Procedure and follow-up at 30, 90 and 180 days

Stage 07: Leading surgery and ongoing follow-up after your return

The procedure is carried out at the leading hospital under the highest safety standards, with post-operative follow-up coordinated with your usual doctor.

What to expect

Treatment by the lead specialist, with coordinated follow-up with your usual doctor on your return.

  • Surgical care from the lead specialist using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Monitored post-operative recovery with early mobilisation protocols
  • A comprehensive clinical report in your language and post-operative teleconsultations after your return
International patients and privacy

Discretion as a way of working.

Confidentiality

Your clinical data is handled in accordance with the GDPR and is only seen by the medical coordination team and your assigned specialist.
